Molly Johnson at Welland's IlluminAqua Festival

Molly was nailing it Friday night and as usual, her band was cooking as well. Molly's a great singer, a wonderful performer and a delightfully altruistic woman.
Opening for Molly were Mark Lalama  and his daughter Breton.
IlluminAqua is set on the old Welland Canal at the Merritt Park Amphitheatre - a great location to see any type of performance ... lovely set, nice lighting and terrific sound!

A hot summer evening at sundown. The stage is set. A gentle breeze moves the stage curtains.

The floating firepots are lit. These burned throughout the night's performances - a lovely touch!

Ontario's winter wheat

The Ontario winter wheat is ripe and ready for harvest.
What a noble and versatile grass this is!
- flour, forage, thatch, biofuel and of course, beer and other alcoholic beverages are all products derived from it.

I like how these buildings are integrated into their environment as well as the design of the showrooms themselves. Nice light on a clear summer evening dresses the shot up nicely.
