Toronto's "Green Living Show" took place last weekend and featured some incredible new products and technologies that promise to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and improve the quality of life for us all - and in particular, our children and grandchildren. But, according to keynote speaker Stephen Lewis, these technologies alone will not be enough to save us from an ecological catastrophe. A global effort to prohibit additional coal-fired power plants and reduce the emissions from existing plants is necessary.
